The Evidence for
Non-Duality

Brush_edited.png

Is there any hard evidence that the thinker in our head – the ego – isn't real?

Well, is there any evidence that the you who you think you are is real?

The answer to either question is: No.

If you live by the principles of science, you wouldn't just assume the ego is real, only because it feels like it.

You'd investigate it. Especially since your position on this matter greatly affects your decisions, ranging from those about self-development to some of the most ordinary every-day decisions.

In recent years, we've collected all the arguments from Alan Watts and other non-duality teachers and bundled them in a book and course. It includes the following topics:

  • Arguments from neuroscience

  • Arguments from psychology

  • Arguments from etymology

  • Arguments from natural sciences

  • Arguments from logic

  • Arguments from comparative religion

  • Arguments from philosophy

  • Instructions for experiments to obtain information from direct experience

We offer this part of the Alan Watts Fundamentals Course for free. This also includes a free PDF version of the book Considering Non-Duality.

Taking oneself to be the thinker of one’s thought is a delusion that produces nearly every kind of human conflict and unhappiness.”

~ Sam Harris, neuroscientist
